Monitoring the power going in and from the battery, Wattmeter and battery capacity and so on, is this what you need?

Thinking about getting something for my Solar Panel setup. Something that can measue current and voltage the both way, discharging and charging. Think this might do the trick. Only negative is that the two parts draws pretty much power, about 0,5 watt each if I understand correctly.

This is the unit:
Minghe VAC-1030A, DC 120V 30A Wireless
Digital Current Voltmeter Ammeter Watt Battery Capacity Power Energy Combo Multimeter.

The best feature compared to other more simple wattmeter is the bidirectional current detector for detecting the charging and discharging of the user can easily detect bidirectional current without changing the wiring.

You can communicate for max 10 wireless or use a standard USB cable for wired communication to the display unit.

It uses a 30 amp relay to cut the power when overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection and so on.

Julian Ilett has made a great video showing some of its features.

This is another version Minghe VAC-1100, this uses only another approach, without the a normlal relay.I think it can take 100Amps..

There are different version, the biggest can take on 300 amps. And is called MingHe Vac-1300.

The 300 amp version: Minge VAC-1300A
The 300 amp version: Minge VAC-1300A
Solid connectors and shunt.
However usually the accuracy declines when you get a bigger shunt. So I would choose the one nearest where I will measure. For me I think this range is 0-30amps since I wont be starting my car with this thing connected between the battery and other sources.

It can take more ampere.

Here a video showing 180 amp going thru it!

Or you could buy something like the CTEK System monitor, but I guess it only measures the servicebatteries.
